Samy Aref has graduated from the Faculty of Engineering in 1979, since that date, he held various managerial positions throughout his career at Ahram Security Group, the biggest company in the Middle East manufacturing all kinds of door locks & access solutions, including Production Manager, Operation Manager, Tool Design Manager, and Maintenance Workshop Manager.With a wealth of experience in driving efficiency and productivity in these roles, he was appointed as Vice-Chairman in 1997, a testament to his leadership skills and dedication to the company's success.

He was responsible for strategically overviewing and managing the full dimension of the institutional risk management framework as set by the Bank’s Board of Directors within the outlines of the International Basel Committee, including business & strategic risks, trading & liquidity and operational risks of the institution among many other key risk aspects imbedded within the c.
